The Park is open year-round, rain or shine, every day EXCEPT on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Yes, our tours operate rain or shine. Our animals will be in the pasture; however, if there is heavy rain, lightning, or the temperature falls below approximately 55℉, the giraffe will remain in their barn for safety. Additionally, in the event of thunder and lightning, tours may be delayed.
You can reserve your experience in advance online, by speaking with one of our representatives over the phone, or by purchasing your experience at The Outpost – our retail store at the front of our park.
We very strongly recommend making your reservation in advance to secure a time slot for the tour. We cannot guarantee experiences will be available if you choose to purchase upon arrival.

We encourage reserving your tour experience in advance. We cannot guarantee tour experiences will be available if you choose to purchase upon arrival.
To provide every touring guest with the best possible experience, we do require that guests arrive in a timely fashion for their own experiences; tours must depart at their appointed times. To that end, we recommend that you arrive 30 minutes ahead of your scheduled time.

Yes; both our Driving Tour Experiences and Animal Encounter Experiences are wheelchair accessible.
Pets are restricted from coming to our property for both their safety and the safety of our animals and staff.
While working service animals are permitted on property for handlers, they are not permitted to join handlers on the tour experience.
Our staff may ask the handler about the dedicated task the service animal is trained to do and to provide proof of the animal’s designation as a working service animal.
Please note that the service animal must remain with the handler at all times and may not be left in any location unattended.
As a reminder for lodging guests, if you are bringing a service animal, please inform the reservation staff before your arrival. Service animals are not allowed on guided tours.
No. All tours are provided on one of our specialized safari vehicles.
Strollers are permitted inside The Outpost or The Lodge, but they are not permitted inside any of our tour vehicles.

Yes, you may arrive early for your scheduled tour. You can visit The Outpost, our gift shop located at the front of our park, prior to your tour.
We currently do not provide dining services at our park, but there are a number of restaurants available in beautiful Madison, GA within a 5-minute drive of the property.

Our pastures are home to a wide variety of hoofstock, including Addax, Roan Antelope, Impala, and Zebra. You’ll also encounter Ostrich, along with our iconic Reticulated Giraffe and Southern White Rhinos.
Guests MUST remain within the safari vehicles or our security fence. Any area beyond the fence is considered a wild animal area and is dangerous for pedestrians, so access is prohibited.
The Georgia Safari Conservation Park operates rain or shine, and tours may experience delays during inclement weather. Refunds are not offered due to weather conditions.
If you are unable to attend, you must contact us before your scheduled tour time to reschedule. In the rare event that the Georgia Safari Conservation Park must cancel your reservation, you will receive a full refund. Please see our Cancellation Policy for more details.
No, we do not currently offer shuttle or similar transport services, but services like Uber and Lyft are permitted on property for pickup/drop-off.
