Safari Encounter Tour

Our up-close giraffe encounter offers a truly unforgettable journey, filled with education, wonder, and incredible memories for the whole family. Join our passionate guides as they share their expertise and get ready to be captivated by the beauty and grace of these extraordinary animals.

The Safari Encounter Tour is a two and a half hour tour.

It includes:

• A one and a half hour Safari Drive
• A half hour Encounter with our giraffe

Please Note: Reservations are required.

Georgia Safari tours will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

The facilities of the Georgia Safari Conservation Park are generally mobility accessible.

For experiences like our safari tours, we can tailor an experience to accommodate a mobility accessibility request; however, we do require advance notice for such requests.  For mobility requests related to our experiences, we ask that you directly contact our Guest Services team at (706) 443-0097. Please contact us at least 48 hours in advance of the experience you would like to reserve.

Experience Planning

• Please note that our experiences are optimally timed to meet the needs of guests, staff, and animals alike.
• The times listed on all reservations are the start times for these experiences.
• We very strongly recommend arriving early (30 minutes) to successfully complete:
  • Required check-in with our Guest Services team.
  • Any personal preparations you or your party require prior to the start time for your experience.
  • Arrival at the meeting point for your experience.
• Any and all experiences we offer start at their respective times. Please ensure that you and your entire party have completed all necessary preparations prior to this time. Failure to do so will result in your party missing the experience.
• Experiences begin promptly, and late arrivals are considered a no-show. If you have any questions about your scheduled experience, or believe you may not arrive on time, please contact us at 706-342-4296 as soon as possible so we can assist you.
