Sunset Safari Tour

NEW FOR 2025: An exclusive after-hours adventure! As the sun dips below the horizon, experience the magic of the safari in a whole new light. Watch as wildlife becomes more active in the cooler evening air, take in breathtaking golden-hour views, and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature as day transitions into night. Perfect for families, photographers, and wildlife enthusiasts, this limited-time experience provides a unique opportunity to witness the safari’s natural beauty at one of the most stunning times of the day.

Sunset Safari is a 3 Hour Tour. The Tour includes:

  • 1.5 Hour Guided Safari Drive
  • 45 Minute Ambassador Animal Meet & Greet
  • 45 Minute Tour inside the Giraffe & Rhino Barn

Only available on Fridays and Saturdays from September 1st through October 31st.

The facilities of the Georgia Safari Conservation Park are generally mobility accessible.

For experiences like our safari tours, we can tailor an experience to accommodate a mobility accessibility request; however, we do require advance notice for such requests.  For mobility requests related to our experiences, we ask that you directly contact our Guest Services team at (706) 443-0097. Please contact us at least 48 hours in advance of the experience you would like to reserve.

Experience Planning

  • Please note that our experiences are optimally timed to meet the needs of guests, staff, and animals alike.
  • The times listed on all reservations are the start times for these experiences.
  • We very strongly recommend arriving early (30 minutes) to successfully complete:
    • Required check-in with our Guest Services team.
    • Any personal preparations you or your party require prior to the start time for your experience.
    • Arrival at the meeting point for your experience.
  • Any and all experiences we offer start at their respective times. Please ensure that you and your entire party have completed all necessary preparations prior to this time. Failure to do so will result in your party missing the experience.
  • Experiences begin promptly, and late arrivals are considered a no-show. If you have any questions about your scheduled experience, or believe you may not arrive on time, please contact us at 706-342-4296 as soon as possible so we can assist you.
