GENERAL PROVISIONS

Your reservation and the accommodation agreement made with Georgia Safari Conservation Park (“Park”) will be subject to these Terms and Conditions outlined below. When you make your reservation, whether online or by telephone, you will be deemed to have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

 

 

RESERVATIONS PROCEDURE AND POLICIES

  1. Online reservations

The Georgia Safari Conservation Park website enables you to check the availability of the overnight lodging offerings as well as touring options, and then submit an online reservation request. On completion of the reservation process, the Park will send you an email confirmation of your reservation.

 

  1. Lodging Prices

The prices indicated on the Park’s website for lodging offerings, as well as other products and services are subject to availability.

 

  1. Touring Prices

The prices indicated on the Park’s website for the touring options, as well as other products and services are subject to availability.

 

  1. Payment

It will be necessary for you to provide credit card details to secure overnight accommodation, product or service reservations. The credit card may then be used by the Park for payment of the full amount of the reservation, and/or a reservation deposit as advised at the time of booking, or as a guarantee for a future payment in the case of a no-show, cancellation or change to the reservation. You also agree that you are fully responsible and shall pay for all charges, fees, duties, taxes, assessments, and other amounts arising out of your reservation when due.

All lodging reservations must be paid in full at the time of booking. To cancel or reschedule your reservation please call 706-342-4296. Refunds for cancellations will be issued according to the following schedule:

  1. Cancellation Policy – Effective November 1, 2023 – TOURING

All touring reservations must be paid in full at the time of booking. To cancel or reschedule your reservation please call 706-342-4296. Refunds for cancellations will be issued according to the following schedule:

  1. Rescheduling Your Reservation

If you cancel and immediately rebook your lodging or touring reservation at the time of cancellation, and your cancellation/rebooking falls within the reservation window that guarantees a 100% refund, you will not be charged a rebooking fee. Any reservations that are cancelled and rebooked in either the 50% or 0% refund category per the schedules above, will be charged a $50.00 rebooking fee at the time of rebooking.

 

  1. Rate/Reservation Validity

Emailed reservation confirmations are provided to you solely for your convenience. The Park retains the official records of reservation transactions, including details of dates of stay and lodging, product and service rates. In the event of discrepancies, alterations, modifications, or variations between this confirmation and our official records, the Park’s official records shall prevail. Tampering with any confirmation record to alter any lodging, product or service rate or any other reservation information is strictly prohibited and will have legal consequences.

 

  1. Currency

Reservations will be charged in the Park’s local currency as shown on the Park website. The price shown is based on today’s exchange rate. A foreign currency transaction fee may be charged by your card provider. Any deposits or pre-payments will be deducted from the final reservation invoice in the Park’s local currency.

A refund of a deposit or prepayment, if any, will be subject to the exchange rate applied by your payment card provider at the time of any such refund and may differ from the exchange rate applied at the time such deposit or prepayment was made.

 

  1. Guarantee Rules

Lodging, products or services booked with an invalid credit card are subject to immediate cancellation.

 

  1. Pets

For the safety and the well-being of our guests, animals, and staff, no pets, including emotional support animals, are allowed on the Park property. Guests are not permitted to leave their pets in their vehicles for any reason during their visit to the Park. For convenience, daycare and boarding options are available at the LODGE MADISON – an independent full service, boarding, grooming, training and day care facility located a few miles from the Park. Reservations for your pet at the LODGE may be made in advance of your visit by calling (706) 707-7829 or online at https://thelodge.pet/. Reservations at the Lodge are subject to availability and not guaranteed by the Park or by your reservation at the Park.

 

  1. Service Animals

Georgia Safari Conservation Park is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible experience for all guests, including those with disabilities who rely on service animals. Service animals must wear official service animal harnessing or vests identifying them as a service animal and be properly leashed while on Park Grounds. Certified service animals may accompany owners on tours, programs and in lodging accommodations provided they are well behaved and maintain their training. Service animals who exhibit excessive barking or aggression towards our animals, staff or other guests, will be asked to leave the Park along with their owners without refund.

 

  1. ADA Accommodation:

The Park adheres to the standards set forth by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to ensure that everyone, regardless of their abilities, can fully partake in our lodging and touring offerings. Our public spaces and safari touring vehicles are designed to be wheelchair-friendly for guests with mobility challenges and lodging is equipped with ADA-compliant amenities to offer a comfortable and welcoming stay.

 

  1. Guest’s Obligations & Code of Conduct

Liability Waiver: Prior to arrival, all guests are required to sign the Park’s liability waiver. For children under the age of 18, a legal guardian must sign on their behalf.

Code of Conduct: Disrespectful behavior, such as taunting the animals, vulgarity, loitering, intoxication, line jumping, theft, and all other actions that negatively impact our guests will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the Park without a refund.

The Park reserves the right to remove from or deny admission to the Park if any guest violates the Park’s safety and security rules.

Restricted Areas: Lodging and Touring guests are not permitted in any restricted areas unless accompanied by Park staff including but not limited to, animal barns and housing, fenced off pastures and yards, offices, exhibits, maintenance and service buildings, service roads, perimeter fencing etc. Overnight guests may not explore grounds after Park closing and may not approach animals in exhibits, pastures or holding yards unless accompanied by Park staff. The Park utilizes security cameras to monitor the safety of our animals and guests. Anyone caught in violation of this policy (day or night) will be asked to leave immediately without refund.

Smoking: The Park is a smoke-free facility and is dedicated to the health and safety of the animals in our care, guests and employees. This policy includes all use of smoking products, including cigarettes, cigars, pipes as well as alternative smoking devices including e-cigarettes. Smoking in or around any lodging accommodations is cause for immediate removal without refund and a sanitization fee of $1,500.00 will be charged to the credit card on file for that reservation.

Photography & Video: You are welcome to take photos and/or video for personal use only; commercial photography requires written permission from the Park’s Community Relations department. On occasion, we will photograph or take videos of visitors for educational or promotional purposes.

Guest entry to the Park grants permission for the use of these images. When taking photos/videos, guests are not permitted to cross barriers or use devices, tripods or bright lighting, to do so.

Weather: Weather in Georgia can sometimes be less than favorable; however, we cannot refund admission due to weather or road conditions. No refunds will be given for cancellations, late arrival, or early departure due to weather.

Safety: For your safety, the following items are not permitted at the Park.

  • Firearms or any other type of weapon, including knives and small blades.
  • Glass containers
  • Balloons
  • Bicycles
  • Skateboards and other skating equipment
  • Large beach umbrellas
  • Lounge chairs
  • Radios
  • Grills or open fires outside of designated fire pit areas operated by Park staff

Tours: Open-Air Safaris are held rain or shine; please dress appropriately.

Drones: For the safety and wellbeing of our guests and animals, the launching and/or operation of a UAS (drone) from or above the Park property is strictly prohibited.

Minors: Minors under the age of 18 years must be accompanied on tours by an adult.

Laser Pointers: For the safety of our guests, animals and employees, laser pointers are prohibited on Park property unless used inside an event facility for meeting purposes.

Late Arrival: Touring

It is important for our tours to depart on time. We cannot guarantee to hold a tour for late arrivals and will try to accommodate your party on the next tour if there is space. If you have booked a VIP tour and your group is delayed in transit and expects to be more than 15 minutes late, please contact Reservations at 706-342-4296.

Late Arrival: Lodging

Check in times are at 2:00 pm daily. If your party requires a late check-in, or will arrive after Park closing, please contact reservations at 706-342-4296 for instructions. 

Food and Beverage Policy: Touring and other guests visiting the park for the day may not bring outside food and beverage to the Park. Beverages and snack purchased from Park retail and dining facilities may be enjoyed in designated areas only and not aboard safari touring vehicles or during animal encounters and programs. Guests are permitted to bring water bottles on all safari tours.

Lodging guests are permitted to bring food and beverages to their lodging units from local restaurants and vendors during their stay. All food and beverages (no glass) must be enjoyed in designated areas and are not permitted aboard safari touring vehicles or during animal encounters and programs.

Area Closings: The Park may elect to close certain areas or attractions due to maintenance issues, animal health concerns, weather hazards or other safety conditions and will re-open as soon as safely possible.

Alcoholic Beverage Policy: You must be 21 years of age (valid state-issued driver's license with photo or state-issued identification card with photo required by state law) to possess or consume alcoholic beverages at the Park. No outside alcohol may be brought into the Park at any time. For Park activities and events where alcohol is served, no one is permitted to take alcoholic beverages outside Park grounds.

Violation of the Terms and Conditions:

You understand that any violation of the Park’s Terms and Conditions may result in cancellation of your reservation and you forfeiting any monies paid for such reservation. The Park has the right and duty to charge your credit card account on file for any costs it incurs as a result of such violation.

  1. Privacy and data protection

The Reservation Privacy Policy below will apply to your reservation and forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

Georgia Safari Conservation Park is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal information is handled securely and responsibly. This Privacy Policy outlines the information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding our use of your data.

Information We Collect:

We may collect the following personal information from you when you make a reservation:

  1. Contact Information: This includes your name, email address, phone number, and postal address.
  2. Payment Information: When making a reservation, you may need to provide your credit card details, including the card number, expiration date, and security code.
  3. Reservation Details: We collect information about your stay, such as check-in and check-out dates, room preferences, and special requests.

How We Use Your Information:

  • Process and confirm your lodging reservation.
  • Communicate with you regarding your reservation.
  • Improve our services and customer experience.
  • Respond to your inquiries or requests.
  • Comply with legal requirements.

Disclosure of Information:

Your personal information may be shared with:

  • Third-party service providers necessary for reservation fulfillment.
  • Legal or regulatory authorities as required by law.
  • Our affiliates and business partners in connection with your reservation.

 

 

Data Security:

We take precautions to safeguard your personal information. Your data is protected using industry-standard security measures.

 

  1. Intellectual Property Rights

The Park has trademark protection. Any copyright and other intellectual property in the content and materials on the Georgia Safari Conservation Park website remains with Georgia Safari Conservation Park. Downloading, copying or otherwise using any material on the Georgia Safari Conservation Park website is permitted only for private use and limited to the sole purpose of making a Georgia Safari Conservation Park reservation.

 

  1. Force Majeure

Georgia Safari Conservation Park will not be liable for any change or cancellation of any reservation that is caused, in whole or in part, by events, occurrences, or causes beyond the control of Georgia Safari Conservation Park. Such events, occurrences, or causes include, without limitation, acts of God, terrorist activities, weather, strikes, lockouts, riots, acts of war, earthquake, volcanic activity, ash clouds, tsunamis, fire and explosions.

 

  1. Limitations

Georgia Safari Conservation Park is not responsible for communication malfunctions, failures, difficulties or lost, stolen, or misdirected transmissions, messages or entries, or the security of any such communications to the fullest extent permitted under applicable laws. Further, Georgia Safari Conservation Park is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information, whether caused by user(s), by any of the equipment or programming associated with the Reservations Facility, or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of any information related to the Reservations Facility and shall not be liable for damages resulting from any of the foregoing to the fullest extent permitted under applicable laws.

Georgia Safari Conservation Park may cancel or modify reservations where it appears that a user has engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity or under other circumstances where it appears that the reservations contain or resulted from a mistake or error.

  1. Governing Law

This Agreement, and its application and interpretation shall be governed exclusively by Georgia law, and the Participant acknowledges and stipulates that any suits, actions, and/or other proceedings arising from or related to this Agreement shall be brought in the state courts in Morgan County, Georgia, and the Participant hereby irrevocably consents to the personal jurisdiction and venue to such court in any such suits, actions, and/or proceedings.
