The best place for possible animal sighting is from the lodging balconies on the back of the unit. The lodging units back up to one of our large pastures, the Veldt Pasture, which contains more than 20 acres and is home to various species of antelope, giraffe, ostrich, and native wildlife. With such a vast area for our animals to explore, we can never guarantee that animals will be in the vicinity of the Lodging every day. Each lodging unit is supplied with a pair of binoculars for your use in looking at the animals. The use of any light source to attempt to see the animals after dark is prohibited.

For safety — any area beyond the lodging fence is considered wild animal territory and is strictly off-limits. Guests must remain inside the fenced lodging area.

Guests may come and go using their gate cards, but for animal safety, we ask that you avoid loud noises or shining lights after 10:00 PM.
