Wild Adventure Awaits at Scout Days!
10.01.2026
Georgia Safari Conservation Park has something special lined up for Scout troops this year with outings worthy of two enthusiastic thumbs up and a patch in fun! Scout Days are here, with exclusive dates set aside just for Scouts to explore the Park, meet the animals, and go home with a custom Georgia Safari Scout Patch with each ticket while our visiting Cub Scouts can work toward an Adventure belt loop.
Here is what Scout Days have in store:
Each event runs on a Saturday from 10:00am to 12:30pm, so be sure to arrive by 9:30am and check in at the Outpost before you begin. Your troop kicks things off with an exciting Guided Safari tour through hundreds of acres of open Georgia savanna, where you might just see some of the park’s zebras, giraffes, rhinos, and dozens of other species roaming freely around your open-top truck. From there, a Keeper Chat with one of the park’s ambassador animals brings the conservation mission up close and personal to educate and delight your Scouts of all ages. Spots are limited to 48 people per event–adults included–so book early to secure your place!
For Cub Scouts ranked Tiger through Arrow of Light, there is the opportunity to work toward an Adventure belt loop during the Scout Day experience. Each Scout receives a worksheet packet tailored to their rank, with activities tied to what they experience at the Park. Georgia Safari provides the experience and the fun, but unit leaders ultimately determine whether requirements are complete. No matter the result, Scout Days are a great way to spend a weekend learning and exploring with your family and friends!
Scouts of all ages and programs are invited to experience Georgia Safari at the Scout Day rate and will receive their one custom Georgia Safari Scout Patch with each ticket. Contact the park directly at education@georgiasafari.com before booking for full details.
